Dr. Lauren Caramagno

Lauren Caramagno, DVM is a veterinarian at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital. She grew up in White Lake, Michigan, and possesses extensive experience in animal care and handling.

Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Carmaagno worked as a docent at Potter Park Zoo working with educational animals, interned at Howell Nature Center, volunteered at Horse's Haven, as well as a therapeutic riding center, volunteered at dog shelters, worked as a veterinary assistant at multiple general practices, and worked at Ohio State's ICU.

Dr. Caramagno graduated from Michigan State University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a concentration on animal behavior and minoring in Environmental Sustainability and Cognitive Science. She also graduated with honors from Michigan State University and received the Spartan Volunteer Service Award. Dr. Caramagno went on to graduate from veterinary school at Ohio State University in 2023, as a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society.

She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and her professional interests include emergency and critical care, ophthalmology, and exotic medicine.

Outside of working in veterinary medicine, Dr. Caramagno enjoys hiking, yoga, reading, volleyball, and fostering kittens. She also shares her home with Bella and Vernon, a Maltese poodle and a domestic short-haired cat.
