Dr. Lainie Dinwiddie
Dr. Elaine “Lainie” Dinwiddie earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, Ca. She completed a small animal rotating internship at Southern California Veterinary Specialists in Irvine, Ca., a specialty surgical internship at MedVet in Dayton/Cincinnati, Oh., and a second surgical internship at California Veterinary Specialists in Ontario, Ca. She completed her surgical residency at Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Philadelphia, Pa. Before joining Mount Laurel Animal Hospital, Dr. Dinwiddie worked in private practice in southern New Jersey.
Dr. Dinwiddie grew up on a sheep ranch in rural northeast Nevada and prior to veterinary school, she worked with primates at a pre-clinical pharmaceutical company in the pathology department as a necropsy technician.
Dr. Dinwiddie enjoys all aspects of veterinary surgery with special interests in orthopedics, minimally invasive surgery, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, and trauma/wound management.
In her free time, Dr. Dinwiddie enjoys being a competitive powerlifter and powerlifting coach. She enjoys outdoor activities including snowboarding, hiking, fishing, and any water sports. She lives in Philadelphia with her pug (PugCheeto), three cats (Fuzz, Banana Pancake, Colonel Cornbread), and 2 fish (Fish and Chip).
