Dr. Justine Murray

Emergency Veterinarian, Justine Murray, grew up at the Jersey shore. When she was a young girl, she developed a love for animals and set a goal of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Murray attended Fairleigh Dickson University to receive an undergraduate degree in Biology along with a minor in Chemistry. During her college years, she worked in a veterinary clinic and at an aquarium taking care of alligators, penguins, seals, macaws, and turtles. After earning her undergraduate degree, she attended St. George’s University for veterinary school.

Her professional interest includes emergency procedures. The most satisfying aspect about being a veterinarian according to Dr. Murray is, “to see my patient’s health improve, whether it’s relieving pain or discomfort, seeing a pet eat again or watching a pet breathe more comfortably again. It is also rewarding to develop connections with clients and become like family.” She is also a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

She currently lives with two puggles, Bruiser and Sugar, a black Labrador mix, Penny, and a Pomeranian mix, Brody. Some of Dr. Murray’s hobbies include going to the beach, boat trips, hiking with the dogs, and spending time with family and friends.
