Dr. Jennifer Monkiewicz

Dr. Monkiewicz grew up in suburban Philadelphia.  She attended McGill University for undergraduate school, where she earned a degree in Psychology and Behavioral Science. Before going to veterinary school, she worked as a certified veterinary technician at the Pennsylvania SPCA, supervising the surgery department. Dr. Monkiewicz attended the University of Pennsylvania for veterinary school and graduated in 2016.

As a Primary Care Veterinarian, Dr. Monkiewicz, has professional interests in internal medicine and dermatology. She is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association. The most satisfying aspect about being a veterinarian is, “it enables me to blend my passion for science and learning while giving me a platform  to  help pets and the people who love them.”

She shares her home with a Redbone Coonhound, named Sophie. Some of her hobbies include hiking, swimming, cooking, gardening, discovering new music, DIY projects, yoga, and spending time with her family and friends.
