Mae

Mae was diagnosed with Distemper when she four months old. The first time she started showing symptoms of being ill, we took her over to Mount Laurel Animal Hospital for help. We had such nice ladies at the front helping to calm us and many brilliant nurses and doctors doing everything they can to help us figure out what was wrong with our puppy. After a few stays at the hospital and a long road, Mae was diagnosed with Distemper. We were set up with Dr. Byfield, an internal medicine veterinarian, who has been a miracle in our lives. We were told numerous times that Mae was not going to live and that puppies CANNOT survive with Distemper and that we should not get attached, but by then we already were in love with Mae. Dr. Byfield has been a saving grace by figuring out all the medications that are keeping Mae strong and BEAT Distemper. Now Mae is on her way to getting her shots and becoming spayed like a normal puppy and has a second chance at life thanks to Mount Laurel Animal Hospital. Thank you everyone!
