K9 First Aid Training: Are you prepared for an emergency?

Join us on Thursday, May 15 at 6pm at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital’s Auditorium for an interactive and informative session focused on first aid training for working dogs and their handlers. Presented by Dr. Willoughby, this interactive workshop will equip you with essential skills and knowledge to effectively respond to emergencies involving your four-legged partner.

During the session, Dr. Willoughby will cover fundamental first aid basics and address common questions that arise in emergency situations. Following the presentation, you’ll have the opportunity to put your learning into practice at interactive stations, where you’ll engage in hands-on exercises dealing with various emergencies. From CPR techniques to proper bandaging methods, you’ll gain practical experience and confidence in handling critical situations.

Topics covered will include CPR & Airway Emergencies, Active Bleeding, Penetrating Trauma Injuries, and more. Whether you’re a seasoned handler or new to the field, this event is tailored to benefit all K9 unit personnel.
