About Dr. Delaney Honeyford

Dr. Delaney Honeyford had a love of animals from a young age. At the University of Maryland, she worked mostly with production animals and developed a deep regard for the human-animal bond. This passion drove her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Initially, in veterinary school, she focused on the interaction of public health and food safety as she went on to earn a Master’s of Public Health concurrently with her veterinary degree.

However, during her clinical year, she fell in love with companion animal medicine due to a desire to serve both animals and their owners. She later graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019.

Dr. Honeyford’s professional interests include veterinary dentistry, geriatric care, feline medicine and client communication.
