Dr. Sarah Meeteer
Growing up in Haddonfield, New Jersey, Dr. Sarah Meeteer always knew she wanted to become a veterinarian given her love for animals and interest in medicine. In 2015, she earned Bachelor degrees in Biology and Earth and Planetary Science from Johns Hopkins University. During this time, she volunteered at the Baltimore animal shelter, completed an internship at the Philadelphia Zoo, and worked as a veterinary technician before going off to veterinary school.
Dr. Meeteer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020. She then went on to do a rotating internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in Rhode Island.
When asked about the most satisfying part of being a veterinarian, Dr. Meeteer replied, “Building long-term relationships with pets and their families, as well as making a positive difference in their lives on a regular basis.”
Dr. Sarah Meeteer has professional interests in emergency medicine, primary care, and surgery. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Dr. Meeteer shares her home with 2 cats, Nymph and Saroya. She enjoys traveling, spending time down the shore, reading, watching Philly sports, and trying out new restaurants.
