Dr. Samantha Giaccone, VMD, is an Emergency Veterinarian at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital.

Growing up at the Jersey Shore, Dr. Giaccone had an interest in helping all animals, especially marine mammals, starting at a young age. In college, she gained experience working with an Aquarium to rescue and rehabilitate stranded seals and assisted in beluga whale behavioral research. She completed her undergraduate studies at University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2018. Following college graduation, Dr. Giaccone explored her interest in small animal emergency medicine by gaining a large amount of clinical experience working as a veterinary technician in surgery, emergency, and critical care departments. Dr. Giaccone graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and her professional interests include small animal emergency and critical care, surgery, and dermatology.

Dr. Giaccone enjoys hiking with her dog, cooking, yoga, and trying new restaurants/breweries. Dr. Giaccone shares her home with her perfect, soul dog, Paulie Chunks, a 5-year old Pitbull/hound mix!
