Dr. Cassandra Janson
Dr. Cassandra Janson earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ohio State University and went on to complete her Emergency and Critical Care residency at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine to become a board certified Criticalist. During this time she was a member of the Phi Zeta Honors Society and received the VECCS Achievement Award.
Dr. Janson finds her specialty very rewarding with the constant challenges and continual learning when working with patients. She enjoys not only the role of the caregiver for her patients, but also her role with their families as an educator and advisor. She says, “having a critical pet is very difficult, and it is important for me to be available for them.”
She has professional interest in Emergency and Critical Care and is a proud member of VECCS, European VECCS, AVMA, and NJVMA.
She shares her home with her husband, Alex, and cat, Eddie. Dr. Janson enjoys traveling, going to the movies, home brewing and trying new restaurants.
