Dr. Amanda Vaughan

Dr. Amanda Vaughan grew up in Long Island, NY, where both her father and mother got a family dog when she was 2 years old, and their house has never been without animals since. “Growing up and to this day my father has owned many different species of reptiles, so I have always had an interest in exotics and small mammals as well. As I got older my motivation was not only my parents and their pets, but also my own pets, I wanted to be an advocate for them and as many animals as I could to make sure they got the best care possible.” She attended undergrad at Becker College and graduated in 2013 with a degree in animal science. Dr. Vaughan graduated with her doctorate of veterinary medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.

Dr. Amanda Vaughan is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests in veterinary medicine include surgery, internal medicine, shelter medicine, exotics, and small mammals.

Dr. Vaughan spends her free time hiking, relaxing at home with my fiancé, Davin, going to the beach and snorkeling, and finding new places to eat with friends. Her and Davin share their home with Bella and Naia, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Luna, a Tabby, Butter, a Himalayan/Persian mix, and Hazel, a Calico from St Kitts.
