Dr. Lauzon is an Emergency Veterinarian at Mount Laurel Animal Hospital. She grew up in Massachusetts and holds professional veterinary interests in emergency medicine, rehabilitation, behavior training/working dogs, and shelter medicine.

Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Lauzon externed at various hospitals throughout middle school, high school, and undergrad, shadowing GP, surgery, and water rehabilitation units. She later worked as a technician in GP and ER settings. Additionally, Dr. Lauzon worked as a tech prior to and sporadically throughout vet school, and externed additionally at a rehabilitation facility and shelter clinic where she gained two weeks of surgical experience.

Dr. Lauzon earned her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from Saint Anselm College in 2019, and also achieved the following honors during undergraduate; Dean's List (Fall 2015-Spring 2019), Member of Honors Council Board (2018-2019), Participant in Mind Over Major Conference: "Una mujer de la gente," and “A teaching exercise comparing a dissected specimen with a CT scan of the fetal pig (Sus scrofa)" (2019), Published honors thesis "Are Chimpanzees Capable of Grieving?" (April 2019), Elected Induction Officer for Beta Beta Beta (2018 and 2019).

Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Lauzon graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2024.

Dr. Lauzon is a member of the Student American Veterinary Medical Association and Alpha Psi. During her graduate studies, she worked as the secretary for the Penn Vet Oncology Club for two years and helped organize their 5k fundraiser "Steps for a Cure" for osteosarcoma!

Dr. Lauzon grew up volunteering in soup kitchens, women's homes, and low-income school systems. She plans to return to the volunteer scene now that she is out of school! Dr. Lauzon is also particularly interested in volunteering in the prison system, and becoming involved with dog training programs led by inmates.

Outside of work, Dr. Lauzon enjoys spending her time outside, from biking and hiking to walking and rollerblading. Additionally, she enjoys powerlifting and hopes to compete in the next 1-2 years. Dr. Lauzon also has a passion for reading and writing poetry, as well as going to R&B concerts! Dr. Lauzon's family dog Leo is a husky greyhound, who is the most handsome angel who ever live! He turns 14 this November and looks not a day over 5 years old. She also hopes to adopt a cat!
