Dr. Rachelle Meyer

Dr. Rachelle Meyer earned her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris from The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Growing up in Hong Kong, Dr. Meyer developed a passion for animals and science at a very young age. Her many pets of all species were a great source of love and stability, inspiring her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She says, "I realized that there was nothing that could make me more complete as a person than to pay it forward by helping animals live out their healthiest lives for both themselves and for the humans who love them deeply."

Dr. Meyer's professional interests include General Practice, Rehabilitation and Emergency Medicine. She believes it is her privilege and duty to swiftly recognize and alleviate pain. "I believe that a multimodal approach to pain management leads to the best results for my patients" she says.

She is a proud member of the AVMA, AARV, IVAPM and VIN as well as earned several honors throughout her education and career including a National Veterinary Business Management certificate and a SCAVMA award in veterinary community service.

Dr. Meyer shares her home with her husband Yev, daughter Eloise and 2 pets Audrey (a rescue, therapy dog who Dr. Meyer volunteers with at the Ronald McDonald House) and Noodles (a rescue cat). Outside of medicine she enjoys workout classes with her daughter, power yoga, broadway musicals, cooking and traveling.
