Dr. Mary Dell Deweese
Dr. Mary Dell Deweese was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 2015. Dr. Deweese then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York, New York, followed by a three-year residency in small animal surgery at the University of Pennsylvania College of Veterinary Medicine. She is board-certified in veterinary surgery by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
While Dr. Deweese enjoys all aspects of surgery, her professional interests include oncologic surgery, minimally invasive surgery, and orthopedics. She has lectured at national conferences and has published articles on gastrointestinal surgery, tracheal stenting, and arthroscopy. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
