Dr. Lucy Rose

Dr. Rose joined Mount Laurel Animal Hospital as an Exotics Veterinarian in 2024. She grew up in Toledo, Ohio, and holds professional veterinary interests in avian and exotic pet medicine and owner education.

Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Rose gained experience by volunteering and working with animals at local shelters, bird rescues, and small animal clinics like Temperance Animal Hospital, and the Bird and Exotic Pet Wellness Center.

Dr. Rose graduated from the University of Findlay in 2012 with an undergraduate degree in Biology and Animal Sciences. During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Rose was a member of the Beta-Beta-Beta Biology Honors Society. After her undergraduate studies, she graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2019.

Dr. Rose is a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians, Association of Reptile and Amphibian Veterinarians, and The Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians.

Dr. Rose shares her home with a lively crew of pets, including Miso a Shiba Inu, Zorro a maroon-bellied conure, Beans a green-cheeked conure, Petrie, Saffron, and Toby the budgerigars, and Gojira a cockatiel. Beyond her dedication to veterinary medicine, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling, horseback riding, and playing video games.
