Dr. Reckelhoff shares a home with three beloved pets, Randall, a spirited Pitbull mix, and two affectionate domestic short-haired cats, Notch and Pearl. An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Reckelhoff enjoys any opportunity to be outside, whether it's running, taking long walks with Randall, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, or soaking up the sun at the beach. Her passion for animals extends beyond their own pets, as she began her veterinary career in equine ambulatory care before discovering a deep calling for emergency medicine. While now primarily focused on emergency veterinary care, Dr. Reckelhoff remains dedicated to the equine industry and continues to provide equine emergency services on a part-time basis.
