Dr. Barbara Angelino
As a Humane Society volunteer, receptionist and emergency veterinary technician, Dr. Barbara Angelino began her journey to become a veterinarian at a young age. Obtaining her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Angelino went on to join the Mount Laurel Animal Hospital team in 2017. Passionate about illness prevention, she has special interest in general practice as well as internal medicine, nutrition, physical therapy, geriatric medicine and hospice care.
She says, "The most satisfying part of veterinary medicine is spending time with pet owners and their furry family members. I love getting know each family, understanding their dynamic and feeling like I can play a role in keeping their pet healthy and helping their family stay happy and whole.”
Dr. Angelino is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Veterinary Business Management Association, Student Chapter and The Society of Phi Zeta Omicron Chapter.
At home, Dr. Angelino enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her husband Shawn, her son Rowan and their rescued fur-babies: Hobbs a nutty mixed breed dog, CiCi a sweet English Labrador Retriever and Callie an adorable domestic short hair.
