Dr. Erika Krick
Dr. Erika Krick, VMD, DACVIM (Oncology) graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery and her residency in Medical Oncology at Penn and became board certified in Medical Oncology in 2007. Dr. Krick was an Assistant Professor of Oncology at the University Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine from 2009 to 2017, when she joined Mount Laurel Animal Hospital. During her time at Penn, she held a variety of leadership positions, including being Section Chief of the Oncology Service. Since joining Mount Laurel Animal Hospital, Dr. Krick has served as Department Head of Oncology and Hospital Employee Advocate in addition to her clinical practice. She is excited to bring this experience to the role of Medical Director.
Dr. Krick’s clinical specialties include medical oncology and palliative care. Her areas of research include feline oncology, canine and feline lymphoma, canine mast cell tumors, and cancer cachexia. She has authored over 20 articles and clinical studies on these and other topics.
Outside of her profession, Dr. Krick enjoys spending time with her husband and children, baking, and practicing yoga. She has 3 cats (Michael, Woodstock, and Aspen).
