Katie Carignan, DVM, DACVECC, is originally from Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Dr. Carignan completed a rotating internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York in 2020, followed by an Emergency and Critical Care residency at the University of Georgia, which she completed in 2023. She has been working at Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists as a Criticalist since then. Her clinical interests include feline critical care medicine, spectrum of care in ECC, sepsis, and polytrauma. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys hiking, reading, and crafting (particularly cross-stitching).
