Behavioral Medicine Dog Training Classes

We are expanding our offerings for patients of Dr. Gilbert-Gregory to classes focused on specific behavioral modifications. Individual treatment appointments are still available for dogs that need to work on multiple behavioral modifications or require one-on-one lessons.

Use the form below to sign up for any of the following classes.

  • Cooperative Care (dogs of all ages) - $500 for 5 sessions - Does your dog hate nail trims? Are vet visits stressful for you and your pet? This 50 minute class is for you! 50 minutes of happy hands-on practice for practical care situations that will make vet visits, grooming & at home care a breeze for you and your dog!
  • Walking Work 1 - (dogs of all ages) - $500 for 5 sessions - This 50 min class is perfect for dogs that struggle with skills for walking on leash near other dogs or distractions of any kind! Sign up today to start learning how to win at walks!
  • Relaxation - $500 for 10 sessions - Help your dog find their inner zen! This class will meet twice per week over zoom for 30 minutes to discuss what relaxation looks like for our canine companions with guided advice in real time as you practice techniques with your pup. We’ll work on teaching your dog relaxed postures, offer suggestions for practical uses of relaxation and give you exercises to do with oversight by our Dog Training team.
  • Basic Manners for Behavior Patients - $350 for 5 weeks - This Basic Manners Class will cater to behavioral medicine clients by being a mix of essential skills for being a good canine citizen as well as useful tools for dogs that are under the care of the Mount Laurel Behavioral Medicine team.
  • Muzzle Class - $300 for 10 sessions - Muzzled dogs are good dogs! This class will teach you the ins & outs of working on muzzling for your dog. We’ll practice once a week for 10 sessions working with you at your own pace in person or on zoom.
  • Verbal Movement Cues - $400 for 5 weeks - This class will focus on getting your dog’s feet in motion! Needing to move dogs through space with our words can be a very important tool for dogs under the care of Behavioral Medicine.
