Dr. Emily Volk

Growing up in Philadelphia, PA Dr. Volk found a love for medicine and a fascination with biology at a very young age.  Her dream of working with animals led her to become a veterinary technician in 2002. Fast forward 10 years, with a Biochemistry degree and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine to her credit, she continued to pursue her dream as an emergency veterinarian. Joining our team in September 2016, she has special interest in emergency care, trauma, high volume/high quality spay/neuter surgery and anesthesia. She is also a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.

Out of the office, Dr. Volk loves to spend time with her pets Biggie, Smalls & Jerry. She enjoys reading, baking, bike riding, gardening and taking local adventures with her husband Adam and son Ian.
