Kick off your veterinary journey! In this entry-level role, you’ll support the hospital by stocking supplies, husbandry practices, and ensuring patient safety through strict hygiene routines. You’ll assist with prepping exam rooms, preparing lab samples, and learning about veterinary basics like medical abbreviations and anatomy.

Step up your skills! As a Level A2 team member, you’ll perform Fear Free practices, monitor vital signs, and run in-house diagnostics under supervision. You’ll expedite appointments, assist with treatments, and gain hands-on experience in caring for exotic patients.

Advance your responsibilities! In this role, you’ll admit and discharge patients, conduct triages with pain scoring, and learn to perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement under guidance. You’ll also assist in orthopedic radiographs and intubation procedures, deepening your clinical expertise.

Enhance your clinical skills! As a Level T1 technician, you’ll perform venipuncture, administer medications, and manage sedation for ASA 1 & 2 patients under supervision. You’ll obtain high-quality radiographs, prepare patients for surgery, and participate in CPR training, becoming RECOVER Rescuer certified.

Take on complex patient care! In this role, you’ll manage Level 2 & 3 hospitalized patients, including those with advanced disease processes and indwelling catheters. You’ll perform general anesthesia for ASA 3 & 4 patients, conduct blood collections for transfusions, and recognize advanced cardiac conditions while leading CPR efforts.

Specialize and excel! At this level, you’ll focus on areas like Anesthesia, ER, or Internal Medicine, bringing advanced knowledge in diagnostics and sedation. You’ll triage client concerns, participate in specialized procedures and/or complex surgeries, and demonstrate versatility across various departments.

Become a leader in veterinary care! As a Veterinary Technician Specialist, you’ll provide gold-standard patient care, share your expertise across departments, and lead training sessions for staff. You’ll also have opportunities to lecture and mentor others while promoting best practices and compassion in the workplace.
