La Dra. Delaney Honeyford sintió amor por los animales desde muy joven. En la Universidad de Maryland, trabajó sobre todo con animales de producción y desarrolló un profundo respeto por el vínculo humano-animal. Esta pasión la llevó a seguir la carrera de medicina veterinaria. Al principio, en la facultad de veterinaria, se centró en la interacción entre la salud pública y la seguridad alimentaria, y obtuvo un máster en salud pública al mismo tiempo que su título de veterinaria.

However, during her clinical year, she fell in love with companion animal medicine due to a desire to serve both animals and their owners. She later graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. She joined the Mount Laurel Animal Hospital team in 2022.

Dr. Honeyford's professional interests include feline medicine, veterinary dentistry, and geriatric care. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Feline Veterinary Medical Association (FelineVMA)

When she's not at work, you can find Dr. Honeyford hiking with her husband, gardening, or chasing around her toddler. They share their home with two tuxedo cats, Huck and Quesarito.
