Dr. Alisa Rassin
Dr. Alisa Rassin acquired her Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Growing up in Israel, Dr. Rassin always had a great love for animals and their well being. Following time spent in the military, Dr. Rassin relocated to the United States. Her love for wildlife then led her to working at a rehabilitation center caring for wildlife in Costa Rica. Once back home in the US, she was employed as an assistant at a local Animal Hospital in addition to volunteering her time at the Hundred Cat Foundation. Now, we are excited for her to combine her passion for companion exotic pets and wildlife as our 4th exotics veterinarian.
Dr. Rassin has special interest in preventative care and the human animal bond, and was a proud member of the shelter medicine club assisting PAWS, ACCT and DelCo.
She shares her home with her husband Nir, cat The Muffin Man and enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, making sushi and television in her spare time.
